Clearance Bin Video Game Review: Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick

Title: Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick
System: Playstation 2
Rating: M

Script: Welcome to the clearance bin video game review by OrganizedRemains.com. This time we look at the game Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick, based on the Evil Dead movies. $6.99 is going to be the cost of this game.

Ash is the guy, the Deadites killing guy, the bad mouth talking guy, baboon butt wearing guy… What!? You get to use different types of weapons, such as a chainsaw, Boomstick, dynamite, and a shovel. The Deadites are the main enemy, so they should be fun to kill… right? Wrong, repetition, repetition, repetition. Over and over you hit these things, and they just keep coming… even crawling!

You’re going around collecting keys to different locations, finding a cop badge, and sweet talking the guards. *Insert funny quote here* Sweet talking is important in this game, not because it’s what you’re supposed to do, but there is a button just for it. That’s right press the triangle button and you can hear the quotes from Ash.

This game was lacking maps. It could have done so much better just from a map being there. People agreed with this so much, that they took time out of there busy lives to make maps. Just because there were no maps it took us double the amount of time to finish the first level!

Final Say: We made it to the second level of the game, but did not want to go any further. Worth $6.99? No, we think it should cost half that. So if anything, you should see the movies, and not this game.
