Superbowl $$$

Adfreak.com made this informative picture, comparing the cost of one Superbowl commercial to a lot of other things. Seeing this reminded me of this YTMND about what you can get with $599 US dollars that's not a PS3.

Alright that first paragraph was a trick! This is a rant! Not about a hatred for sports, but a hatred for the people that assume I'm stupid. I get this all the time, because I don't regularly watch sports. People have assumed I don't know the rules to sports, and start to teach me what is going on. I have to stop these people and tell them I know the rules to football. They think I must know nothing about the sport, because I'm always locked in my room playing video games.

These people are dead wrong, in fact I might possibly know more than they do. This is where video games come in. Not every gamer plays sports titles, but I'm the type of gamer that likes to get their hands on every title that exists. This includes sports titles from hockey to soccer, and even football. I explain to people that I have actually played the game, with all the rules intact and understand what is going on. Some people don't believe me, because video games can't possibly teach you anything... right?
