Thoughts on Assassin's Creed 2

It's been some time since I've played the first Assassin's Creed. When I heard that Assassin's Creed 2 would fix all the problems from the first game, I wasn't sure what that meant. I thought the first one was pretty good, and since it's been awhile since I've played it I didn't remember any parts of it that were bad.

That's until I played Assassin's Creed 2. I realized that I was having more fun with it. I wasn't waking up as the guy after every mission, the map seemed bigger and better, and there was more to do.

I recently played through the first Uncharted game by Naughty Dog. I can see that both games have a similar jumping around and climbing objects style. When I first started playing Assassin's Creed 2 I was somewhat disappointed, because he did all the climbing for you, unlike in Uncharted. Later in the game however they teach you how to jump while climbing, and the Uncharted feel came into play. I was so used to not jumping to higher ledges, I wish they introduced this earlier, because I believe I was two thirds done the game when they taught me.

Final Say:
I really enjoyed Assassin's Creed 2. It took me 12 hours and 20 mins to beat it, and I had fun throughout the whole 12 hours. If a remember correctly (I could be wrong) the first game had a lot more stealth in it. The second one didn't have so much, and maybe that's why I enjoyed it a lot more. I think if you have any interest in playing this game, you should go for it, because it'll live up to your expectations.
