The Boy Who Couldn't Sleep

We here at Organized Remains are big fans of the comedy group Derrick Comedy. If you were to know anyone from the group it would be Donald Glover who plays Troy on the show Community, and also had his own stand up special on Comedy Central. Today I'm going to talk about another member of Derrick Comedy named DC Pierson who wrote a book called The Boy Who Couldn't Sleep and Never Had To.

Obviously the book is about a person that doesn't sleep, but as you get more into the book it becomes way more than that. These two guys named Darren and Eric start to write this book, which becomes a comic book, which they decide will be a movie and TV series epic. After a while, Eric admits he can't sleep and never has to. Of course Darren doesn't believe him, but after a while finds out he was telling the truth. The story really gets heated when a third person enters named Christine. Then you got some church coming after them to try to fix Eric. Then the government, and police get involved, and it's really just a big mess.

Final Say: I can't really say much more about the story without giving it away. What I can say is that this book was amazing, and I enjoyed it very much. It's sort of nerdy, but that's what makes it so great. I'm looking forward to any other books DC Pierson writes in the future. I can't recommend reading this book enough! You shall read it (I'm not asking, I'm telling you)!
