Welcome to the Clearance Bin Video Game Review by Organized Remains. Thanks to HalfAssedJournalist who asked us to do a review of Jet Force Gemini for the N64 by looking at our Backloggery at backloggery.com/OrganizedRemains. Send us a message, or comment if you see any games you would like us to review. $5 is the price you can find Jet Force Gemini over at Amazon.

Before we start the review let me say, long story short I wasn't able to record footage for this game. All the videos you will be seeing is what I've gathered from videos I've found on the internet.

Jet Force Gemini has been labeled as the most underrated game of all times. It's on mostly every list of underrated games for the N64 I've seen. So lets check it out!

You play as three different characters by the names of Juno, Vela, and Lupus. My favorite has to be Lupus the dog. He has an unfortunate name, but he can hover. Each character has different types of abilities, letting you get to different places some characters couldn't reach.

Rescuing Tribals is the fun part of the game, until it gets to the point where you're sick of that. The game developers decided that you needed to collect all of them at a certain point of the game. If you want to beat the game, you've got a lot of hours ahead of you.

The worst part of the game are the controls. You get use to them sure, but they're just bad in the beginning. I found using the the manual aiming system was the worst part. Also I found the story to be meh, that's usually ok, but they force you to watch all the videos! Why can't we have a skip button!

Final Say: I can see the appeal of this game, and why some people would call this underrated. I think if I played this as a kid, I would have liked it a lot more, which I hate to say. Sadly when I play some oldschool games I loved as a kid, I will think, "Why did I like this as a kid?" I'm not saying Jet Force Gemini is a bad game, and I really did like the giant levels to the game, but I think the loads of work you have to put in to rescue all these Tribals gets tiring. I still think if you like the looks of this game from the video, and you're looking for a game that will take 30 hours to beat. Then you should check it out. You might have a gem on your hands.
