Lie To Me Review

image from Amazon

Premise:
Lie To Me stars Tim Roth (Ringo from Pulp Fiction, Emil Blonsky/Abomination from The Incredible Hulk) as Dr. Cal Lightman. Lightman and his crew [hot female partner, young nerdy tech-geek, and young, hot hispanic protege) work alongside law enforcement to crack cases using psychology. Specializing in microexpresions (involuntary facial expressions and body language) that deduct whether suspects are telling the truth or lying.

Overall Rating:
The show comes on Fox, Monday's 8 PM EST (check your local listings). I'm not caught up on the show just yet, but I'm half a dozen episodes into the first season via Netflix. From what I've seen so far, I'm utterly hooked. It's a Crime Drama, it's a Psychological drama. If you like House, you may also like .... LIE TO ME! Each episode's unique situation is intriguing, involving, and often throws you a curve! No! That curve is not "Cancer" Gregory House! But there's also great continuity between the episodes unfolding drama and personal lives of Dr. Lightman's crew. They're not just a bunch of pocket-protector bland nerds, or hardened burned out cops. They're three dimensional and well rounded. I highly suggest this show to everyone and can't wait till I get the time to watch the next episode. 5 *'s out of 5, without a doubt.
