Weird Al Concert

Shawn and I brought our girlfriends to see Weird Al in concert. I'm the biggest Weird Al fan in the group. I own all his CDs (Not counting greatest hits), UHF is one of my favorite movies, and I have his show on DVD. So I knew I was going to have a great time, for the others it seemed like they weren't as enthused as I was. That changed when we got there though.

I was expecting Weird Al to just sing his songs, and dress up a little. We got that, and a ton of other funny surprises including songs that haven't seen the light of day (His newest Polka song!). I want to tell you all the funny things he did, but that would ruin the experience for you. What was great about the concert was I couldn't see the jokes coming. Then Weird Al would perform a joke, and it would knock you off your feet laughing. It's one of the funniest 2 hours of entertainment I've ever seen!

We suspected that from me though since I'm the giant Weird Al fan. As for Shawn and the girls they were also blown away with laughter. I know if Weird Al comes back to New Hampshire I will have to see him and the band in concert again!

Final Say: If you didn't skip the review and go straight to the final say, then you already know what I'm going to say. IT WAS AN AMAZING CONCERT! Even if you only know a couple of Weird Al songs, this is a must see.

Tidbit: Living in New Hampshire I know of the song Granite State of Mind, which was a parody song Jay-Z did. The song consisted of jokes about New Hampshire, and everyone around here loves it. The people that made the parody was also at the concert. They were rapping... and swearing. Not to complain about swearing, but when you go see a Weird Al concert... you just don't see it coming.
