PS3 No Longer Needs a Netflix Disc

According to the official Playstation 3 Blog, yesterday marks the first day that Playstation 3 caught onto the what X-Box 360 was doing correctly the whole time: making Netflix Instant Watch disc-free. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, Netflix Instant Watch allows you to stream movies/television shows directly to your computer, or to your TV with the appropriate streaming device (Wii, X-Box 360, PS3, certain Blu-Ray Players and other misc). X-Box 360, the select Blu-Ray Players and the other misc. devices utilized their wi-fi to connect to Netflix Instant Watch and allowed you to pick a show/movie easy-piezy, but for Wii and PS3, you needed to order a disc (thankfully for free) from Netflix, and insert it into the console every time you wanted to access Instant Watch. Now, only the Wii is left in the stone ages, using this relic we call "discs". Also, PS3 Instant Watch will now have available (maybe to all devices?) high definition movies with subtitles (a limited selection for now, but a promising gesture for the future).
