Book Review: Mustaine

I've been into Megadeth for about 5 years now. Ever since I was in high school and I heard a Megadeth song on Guitar Hero. I own most of their albums, and enjoy most of them. Maybe one, or two are meh but overall, a great band. When I found out the founder, guitarist, and vocalist, Dave Mustaine was writing an autobiography, I wanted to check it out.

Mustaine starts the book almost at the end of the road. He has problems with his hands, and the doctor tells him that he probably won't be playing a guitar anymore. Though *SPOILER* if you follow Megadeth at all you know they just did a Rust in Peace live album.

The book covers his childhood, being in Metallica, starting Megadeth, having a family, different religions, and oh yeah drugs... lots and lots of drugs. Lets just say we're lucky Dave is still alive.

Final Say:
The book is a must have for any Megadeth fan. The story of Dave's life is just crazy, and is a must-read. Hopefully another book is written for when Dave gets older and does retire from the music business. The book did just abruptly come to an end, leaving you wanting more.
