Arkham Asylum × 5 = Arkham City

Arkham Asylum was a big hit with practically everyone. I know I fell in love with it and had very little to complain about (except for that sewer level). Now, 2011 will bring Arkham City, which according to this interview with Sefton Hill, game director at Rocksteady Studios, is five times bigger than Arkham Asylum was.

By the looks of things so far, it's looking good. I would compare it to Spider-Man 2, the game proves that you can have a super hero swinging around the city and be awesome at it. Though for some reason they were never able to make another good Spider-Man free-roam game after that. I'm assuming you'll be able to drive the Bat-Mobile around, and the gadgets on that will make an insanely fun game.

Lets just hope they don't get too carried away with the city, and neglect the gameplay and story elements. That's what I want - a good story and awesome gameplay, not just another Grand Theft Auto clone.
