Macho Man Randy Savage Dies in Tragic Car Accident

According to TMZ and too many other news sources to list, pro wrestling legend, "Macho Man" Randy Savage passed away in a car accident Friday, May 20, 2011 at the young age of 58. Reports indicate that Savage suffered a heart attack while driving with his wife in their 2009 Jeep Wrangler through Seminole, Florida Friday morning, and lost control of his car, hitting a tree. Savage and his wife were rushed to the hospital where Savage died of his injuries, but his wife thankfully survived with only minor injuries. Reports also indicate that no alcohol was in play, and seat belts were responsibly in use.

The man who's "Macho Madness" got a nation to "SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM!" will live forever in the hearts of millions of fans. Wrestling fans who remember or are interested in learning about Savage need only find the classic encounter still considered one of the best wrestling matches today, against Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat at WrestleMania III.
