Track Rundown:
(All ratings out of 5 *'s)

1) "Perform This Way" ; Parody of "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga - Though subject a brief controversy over whether or not Gaga approved of this parody, definitely a great song. Totally hits the nail on the head while giving credit to Gaga's antics. Catchy and infectious. 5*'s out of 5.

2) "CNR" ; Style-parody of The White Stripes - A song about the how awesome actor Charles Nelson Reilly is to the great lengths of Chuck Norris facts. While entertaining and fun for copying The White Stripes, it's not a song I would listen to on repeat. A respectable 3 1/2 *'s out of 5.

3) "TMZ" ; Parody of "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift - Sticking it to TMZ's obsession with minor celebrities' minor mishaps, as well as Taylor Swift is a win. A great social satire about today's culture and really channels classic Weird Al. 5 *'s out of 5.

4) "Skipper Dan" ; Original - Story of how being a tour guide sucks. It's no Albuquerque but it's not a bad song. Not actively worth skipping but not actively worth seeking out. 2 3/4 *'s out of 5.

5) "Polka Face" ; Polka mash-up of song covers - Fantastic mashup with some really popular songs over the last 6 years or so. I'll tell you before listing the songs that it's a 5* out of 5 song. LISTING:
  • "Liechtensteiner Polka" by Will Glahé
  • "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga
  • "Womanizer" by Britney Spears
  • "Right Round" by Flo Rida
  • "Day 'n' Nite" by Kid Cudi
  • "Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum
  • "Baby" by Justin Bieber
  • "So What" by Pink
  • "I Kissed A Girl" by Katy Perry
  • "Fireflies" by Owl City
  • "Blame It" by Jamie Foxx
  • "Replay" by Iyaz
  • "Down" by Jay Sean
  • "Break Your Heart" by Taio Cruz
  • "The Tick Tock Polka" by Frankie Yankovic
  • "Tik Tok" by Ke$ha
  • "Poker Face (Reprise)" by Lady Gaga
  • "Whatever's Left Over Polka" by "Weird Al" Yankovic
6) "Craigslist" ; Style-parody of The Doors - As someone who loves The Doors, I enjoyed this song. It wasn't a masterpiece but it did feel pretty true to the style of The Doors, and poked some good fun at Craiglist. I think it lacked some fine-tuning in production and maybe a real good hard hitting joke or two in the lyrics. Still a respectable 3 3/4 *'s out of 5.

7) "Party In The CIA" ; Parody of "Party In The USA" by Miley Cyrus - Win. That's all I can say. Just total win. Catchy, dancy, great on the parody, and real funny satire. 5 *'s out of 5.

8) "Ringtone" ; Style-parody of Queen - Funny and relatable lyrics, but I feel like the music was leaving much to be desired. Maybe Queen is just untouchable? Not a song that really worked too well for me. 2*'s out of 5.

9) "Another Tattoo" ; Parody of "Nothin' On You" by B.O.B. and Bruno Mars - Hilarious, beautifully produced, and a just all around great track. 5 *'s out of 5.

10) "If That Isn't Love" ; Style-Parody of Hanson - Hanson is still culturally relevant? Still a pretty good song. Doesn't hit very strong, but well put together. An average 3 *'s out of 5.

11) "Whatever You Like" ; Parody of "Whatever You Like" by T.I. - Although it's late parody, it's a good spin on the song and really enjoyable. The music is kind of on the fence when not on the chorus but the lyrics are hilarious. 4 1/2 *'s out of 5.

12) "Stop Forwarding That Crap To Me" ; Style-parody of Meatlof - Not a strong end to the album, but real solid music production. I didn't really find it over the top funny but it was a solid song. 3 *'s out of 5.

My Highlights:
"Perform This Way", "TMZ", "Polka Face", "Party In The CIA", and "Another Tattoo".

Overall Rating:
Averaging all the track ratings together, this album gets an impressive 4 *'s out of 5, or 8 *'s out of 10. While already an impressive figure, I'm going to use my big-picture brownie-points powers to add an additional 1/4 * onto that and make it 4 1/4 *'s out of 5, or 8 1/2 *'s out of 10. I haven't gotten too many albums this year but this is a definite must-buy for all fans of Weird Al out there. A really solid album that is worth your hard-earned money.
