7 New Movie Trailers

September 9, 2011 (Italy), December 16, 2011 (US)

Trailer gets progressively funnier and funnier. I think Polanski took a genuine situation previously untapped and pushed it to the absurd of a great comedy.

September 2011 (Toronto), October 14, 2011 (United States)

Joel Schumacher sucked long before this film, but this will just keep up his reputation. Nothing about this film feels original, and the big "fight back" moment promoted in the trailer looked weak as a newborn kitten.

"The Woman In Black"
February 3, 2012 (US), February 10, 2012 (UK)

Holy crap. It'll be nice on it's own just to see if Daniel Radcliffe can hang on his own without the Harry Potter franchise propping him up, but this movie looks phenomenal. Everything about it says THE NEXT BIG GHOST-MOVIE!

"Texas Killing Fields"
September 2011 (Venice Film Festival), October 17, 2011 (US)

Looks like it has potential, but I'm not sure it will live up to it. It definitely has a cast that will draw me in, but I'll probably wait to hear others' opinions about it before checking it out myself.

"Machine Gun Preacher"
September 23, 2011

I have no idea how to feel about this one. On the one hand, it's touching it's moving, it's passionate and it's relevant. On the other hand, they tend to your blood lust while reminding you "hey stupid, you're supposed to suppress that blood lust!" And you're stuck going "HE JUST SHOT THE BAD GUYS WITH A BAZOOKA!"

"Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance"
February 17, 2012

Awesome new look, same crappy Nicolas Cage acting, and that last added gag in the trailer just made me lose interest big time. This better go to Netflix Instant Watch because I don't see myself going out of my way to pay to see it.

"Underworld: Awakening"
January 20, 2012

Feels like someone just got around to watching the Resident Evil series and thought it would be better with vampires and werewolves.
