Madcoaster App Review

Madcoaster is available for the iPhone, iPad, and Android phones for $0.99. For this review I played it on the iPhone.

People that love the Super Nintendo might remember a game called Donkey Kong. The best levels of Donkey Kong were the mine-cart levels, or the roller coaster levels in Donkey Kong 2. Well Madcoasters is probably the closest thing to that for your phone.

In Madcoasters you control a roller coaster and jump from track to track. While you avoid falling to your death, you have to complete objectives to earn the next level. Objectives can be hit five birds, or something like reaching a certain distance. You can also collect coins during your adventure that can buy you power ups upgrades, and different looking roller coasters.

I had a blast when I first started playing Madcoaster, but I started losing interest when I got to around level 6. I thought I had made up my mind and decided the game was just alright. Surprisingly I found myself coming back to it everyday to play it more. That's when I realized that Madcoaster is a great game for anyone that needs to kill ten minutes.

Final Say: Madcoaster will probably get boring if you play it for an hour straight, but it's great for anyone looking for short bursts of game-time. $0.99 is a great price for something you'll keep coming back to, so check it out
