App Review: Regular Show - Nightmare-athon

Regular Show - Nightmare-athon is available for the iPhone and iPad for $0.99. For this review I played it on the iPhone.

Let me start this review by saying I'm a fan of Regular Show. That's why I'm here today playing Regular Show - Nightmare-athon. It's a game that's based on the episode (Grave Sights) where Mordecai and Rigby have to protect everyone from ZOMBIES during a screening of an outdoor movie showing.

Mordecai and Rigby are placed on the left side of the screen, and you control them by (your choice) tilting your phone, or touching the left side, and moving them up and down with your finger. I played mostly using the tilt, but the touch controls worked just as well. You then touch the right side of the screen to use your weapon against the zombie attack. You can also slide your finger across the screen to send Rigby to attack. Rigby attacks by dashing across the screen with a stick to hurt zombies, and then dashes back.

Power-ups are also involved in this game so you get to see all the main characters as they help you in this zombie attack. My favorite power-up was Muscle Man and High Five Ghost, where they throw more attacks, along with your attack to knock down triple the zombies!

The sound and music in this game are really awesome as well. The music is a good fit, and I loved hearing quotes from Mordecai, and Rigby. The game does a nice job of putting you in the setting of Regular Show.

Final Say: If you're a fan of the show then you should buy this for your phone! If you're not a fan of the show then check out the free version of the game here. Yes it's free, and basically the same game, but this game is a fun game to just pick up and play. It's like Tetris, fun to play on the TV, and computer, but better on a handheld.

You can buy Regular Show - Nightmare-athon here.
