Cartoon Network's App Update

It's another case of, "I wish I had this as a kid." Cartoon Network has recently updated their app for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod. This update allows people to watch full episodes of Cartoon Network programming on the top of their screen. Then on the bottom of the screen you're able to play Cartoon Network games. The only requirement is that you (or a parental figure) need to put in some information about your cable provider. If you don't have cable, then sorry, this isn't a way to see Cartoon Network shows for free.

I downloaded the app to check it out on my iPad and thought it was pretty cool. There's not many games to choose from, but I'm sure they plan on adding more. The shows that are available ares all newer shows, which I'm not really interested in accept for Regular Show, or possibly the chance of checking out Adventure Time. I would love to see some cartoons I grew up with on this app: Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, and so on. Though I understand that this app is geared towards children, I still think that kids could enjoy the same cartoons I grew up with.

The Cartoon Network App is free (if you have a cable subscription), and can be downloaded here.
